Updating our Status.

Of all the things Facebook is used for, one the most popular things has to be the status update. Some people  update their status with profound thoughts in the way of song lyrics, poetry, and famous quotes. Others go the much simpler route by informing the Facebook world of their actions & whereabouts every second of every day. There are even those that use their status update to vent their feelings---whether it's anger at a significant other, frustration with a job or situation, or a feud with someone, circa the drama on The Hills. No matter what you use your status update for, or how often you do so, we can all admit that for some reason, putting our status out there is a type of self-expression. It's the virtual form of a bumper sticker, magnet, t-shirt, or any other outlet for clever sayings. It's our online facial expression.
On Facebook you can "like" somebodies status. You can comment on it. You can even "share" it on your own wall. Do you read other people's statuses? Does it truly make you feel updated on their lives? And how often do you update your own? Are you a status update junky or do you save it for the really important moments? And finally...is there any thought that's just too deep or any information that's just too personal for a status update?
